Runnng Vegas on a Mac?
I have a copy of Vegas 8. I have a laptop that I run Mac Boot Camp and this version on now. Works just OK.
I'm thinking of updating to ver 11. Anyone know if I can run Vegas on a Mac Pro using Parallels? I want to keep the Mac OS and machine. See the specs below (including the ATI card). odel Name: Mac Pro Model Identifier: MacPro3,1 Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz Number Of Processors: 2 Total Number Of Cores: 8 L2 Cache (per processor): 12 MB Memory: 6 GB Bus Speed: 1.6 GHz Chipset Model: ATI Radeon HD 2600 Type: GPU Bus: PCIe Slot: Slot-1 PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) |

Re: Runnng Vegas on a Mac?
I run Vegas 10 on a MacPro (2009 ver) and it doesnt run well. DSLR footage are very jerky. Macbook Pro V10 on the 2011 17" works pretty well via bootcamp.
Not sure about parallels but i thought it might be slower esp with DSLR footage
