should smart resample always be off?
hi folks
I just found out reading various posts that there is a script I can use to put smart resample off by default. the only times when I was turning it off was when I was slowing clips down using Twixtor for example, but it never occurred to me it was useful to have it off anyway. is that so? is smart resampling interfering with "normal" rendering even when you are not changing speed, and is it a good idea to leave it off by default? does "Smart resample" effect image quality (aside from when strictly needed)? I've found this page where a guy suggested the use of a script: I wonder if anyone has used it http://www.hv20.com/archive/index.php/t-40452.html Fed Last edited by Federico Perale; September 29th, 2011 at 05:46 AM. |

Re: should smart resample always be off?
I'd leave it on Smart. If the footage matches the frame rate of the timeline, then it won't be an issue 99% of the time.
