Re: audio sync plugin?
Singular Software's Plural Eyes should do the trick for you.

Re: audio sync plugin?
They're two different products that both do similar things. In this case, I think Plural Eyes would be more effective.

Re: audio sync plugin?
DualEyes is the stand alone version of PluralEyes which is the plugin. I use DualEyes myself.

Re: audio sync plugin?
I've just trialed PluralEyes and am about to buy it. So far in my experience it is excellent. What I have been using it for is the following - and it is great for it.
I have a project using 4 cameras, one has the audio captured via 2 mics and a Juicedlink. So...I download that video and edit out any bits where I stumble or what not, so it ends up with a number of cuts - maybe up to 10 or so. If the audio is satisfactory, I then download the other three cameras and bring them into vegas...and run pluraleyes. Hey Pesto, in about 2 minutes the three new videos are all lined up, and all my cuts in the first one are lined up in the appropriate places with all the others. All I then need to do is make selections across all cameras matching the cuts in first one and cut the selections out in the other three...Bingo. Actually one little issue observed is that if the cuts are made so that only small sections of the video are left at places, PE may not sync these bits but shoots them to the end of the video and labels them unsync'd. It's pretty easy then to just drag these back to the appropriate place and manually sync them. |

Re: audio sync plugin?
Apparently with the issue I've mentioned above, there is an option which tells PE that the clips are all in sequence and so helps it in the syncing...
I haven't tried this feature yet but will. I have just purchased...:-) |

Quote:
For unsync short clips marked as the end you simply right click on the clip you want to sync the media to select "Switches" then "Lock" the clip, now select the unsynced media and the locked clip together activate PluralEyes & in Option tick "Try really Hard" this should sync your media to the locked media without messing up your timeline. |
