AVCCAM to SD Video

I just purchased the Panasonic AG-HMC40 cam and want to start using it to shoot my weddings. Right now I shoot with the Sony VX2100 (SD Video). Can you tell me what would be a good setting in vegas to down convert my 1080p video to SD so that once I finish editting in Vegas I can output it to DVD instead of Blu-ray?

If you search this site you will find about 2000 answers to your question from very difficult to very easy, I use Cineform Neo and it's great, most are not happy with the Vegas solution. Spent a little time and search HD to SD in this forum. OR
Some folks that have really gotten into this:
Sony Creative Software - Forums - Vegas Pro - Video Messages

Edit as 1080p on a timeline of the appropriate frame rate and then export using the appropriate widescreen DVD Architect template under MPEG-2. (Use 24p if it's 24p footage; use NTSC if it's 30p or 60i footage).
