60p DVD
I just rendered out a 720 60p video file to mpeg 2 for DVD, and used 30p for setting. Results are fair, but would be much better at 60p.
Can I use a 60p mpeg 2 file for DVD (I think it is possible) and if so, how can I set rate of 60 in Vegas for rendering? I cannot customize the frame rate in Vegas templates, but have tried various way of doing so. I swear I've done it before, but I can't make it happen today

Re: 60p DVD
There is no 60p in the DVD spec. It'll be 60i. Even if you render a 60p MPEG-2, DVD Architect will re-render as 60i.
Just use the DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen template. Set render quality to Best because you're resizing.

Re: 60p DVD
Thanks for your reply David, appreciate it very much. I just played it as rendered and it looks pretty darned good, I'm just used to HD now, I guess.
