Can't hear audio - Can See IT
Just upgraded to Pro 10 and going through a set list of songs I recorded at a concert. As in the past with Studio 10 I drag a cineform AVI down onto the timeline and immediately save the project as that song's name - Then add video and audio fx and save again,
Then I usually delete the two tracks and drag the next song's audio/video onto the timeline and save off that as that song and then modify if needed and so on. Vegas Pro 10 crashes a lot!! by the way...... Welp a few songs i drag onto the timeline and see the audio rendered but when I play - no sound. On one I switched to one channel left and heard it.Which is fine but on this last one it was as if the clip was muted. Any ideas?

For what it's worth Harry, I think Vegas 10d has many bugs. Hope Sony will get it sorted in the next version. Report your problems to Sony, then at least they are aware even if you don't get a response.

Well that sucks - I was hoping an "upgrade" to Pro 10.0d was a good thing...I'll let Sony know the issues.
Thanks for chiming in - suppose everyone else is happy ;-)

Re: Can't hear audio - Can See IT
I had one project where the audio just quit working (this was several months ago). I ended up having to start a new project in order to get my audio working again - with the exactly same clips! Not sure what happened or why it happened.

Re: Can't hear audio - Can See IT
Hi again Harry,
I've had several issues with 10d which I haven't had with previous versions. The issue I don't like is the number of crashes I've had with 10d, never ever have had so many with previous versions "Vegas has stopped working" Why? Quite an expensive piece of software with bad support. I hope we all expect better in the next version. Think I might put 10c back on until they get it sorted. Richard |

Re: Can't hear audio - Can See IT
With Pro 10.0d 50% it crashes when I try to save the project......sometimes it saves it sometimes not....hope there's a hotfix yet. Never had these prblems with Vegas Studio HD10. I'll spend time tomorrow composing a detailed help ticket with Sony.
