user tutorials in book form
Does anyone know of a user manual or comprehensive guide how to use VMS HD 10 platinum in the printed bookform. I've several CD tutorials but it's a bit of hassle to find a section I want on the CD while I am actually editing. The problem is that there always seems to be something I want to know and it's not covered on the CD's.

Re: user tutorials in book form
Most Sony manuals come in the PDF format, which means you can print them out yourself. I use Adobe Acrobat's ability to print the odd pages separately from the even pages. So I print the odd pages first, then use the same paper to print the even pages in the reverse order. As a result I have a nice printed book with both sides of the paper printed. I then put them in a three-ring binder.

Thanks Adam. I have thought about doing what you explain but I find the official uaser manuals very hard to understand as they jump from one feature to another as they direct the reader to other pages. That is why I really want a user tutorial written by an independent writer.

Re: user tutorials in book form
I am not aware of such a book, I am just aware of video tutorials on DVD. There are also numerous video tutorials on YouTube, though most of them are not very good.
Then again, just because I am not aware of something does not mean it does not exist. Maybe someone else will know better and answer your question. |

There are some third-party books on Vegas. They're usually based on Pro instead of Movie Studio, though.
