Vegas and the grindhouse effect and favorite effects?
For my second mini-project with the Canon T2i I wanted to make a trailer in the style of those old midnight grindhouse flicks. Having abandoned Magic Bullet Looks as it won't work on my 64-bit system I was amazed how how easy it was to create this using Sony's Film Effects and some sound effects. There are tutorials out there on how to do this but I just added scratches, grain and tinited the footage a bit with brownish-red.
What are some of the other forum members out there favorite Vegas effects and tweeks? |

What effects are you using on your voice?

Recorded the narration on a Zoom H1.
Loaded it into Audacity. I lowered the PITCH. Then I lowered the SPEED by about 20. Though on repeated listens I think the voice may be too slow and I am going to speed it up a touch. I was going for a parody of a parody, really, trying to emulate Eli Roth's Thanksgiving trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZE7tyW8CYXs |
