Do you want to export interlaced or progressive?

Disable smart RESAMPLE in clip properties on the 25p clips and see if that helps.

Re: Conforming 25 p videos with 50i videos for a documentary
This is just what I would do.
If you make everything progressive you can maintain that right through to delivery, whether it be web or DVD. So, easy way is to just have a progressive project and have 'Interpolate fields' selected in Properties. This will take care of any interlacing that occurs from your 50i footage. A better way if you have time, is to drag all your interlaced footage into a Progressive project and select Interpolate fields. Then save this project as, (make up a name.) Then drag that Veg file into another 25p project that is set to Progressive frames. The benefit of this, is that you take care of your interlacing issues in the saved Veg, but you're not messing around with the interpolation (therefore degrading the quality) of your nice clean progressive footage. Just a thought, wouldnt it be good if you could make a new media bin and apply your clip property choices to that Bin..... Maybe Vegas 11.
