DSLR Clips not loading in Vegas Pro 9
Hey guys...I have a wedding I shot on a Canon 60D. I am now loading the clips into bins in Vegas Pro 9. I can get maybe a dozen clips that will preview or play but when I cross the threshold of say number 13 or 14 I get a greenscreen clip that has audio but no video.
At first I was scared that it was a corrupted clip(s) but when I deleted the clips in the bin and loaded a different 12 or 13 they were fine then. Any ideas why I can't load more than the first 12 or so? Thanks! Jeff |

What happens if you just drop them on the timeline?
I almost never use the Project Media other than what gets added there automatically when I add clips to the timeline. However, if the same thing happens when adding to the timeline, my recommendation would be to either: 1) Add only a few at a time and convert them to a format Vegas can read better. 2) Upgrade to Vegas Pro 10 which added much better support for DSLR type footage.

And try to update to last version of 9... 9 e I think. They resolved some issues like this to some extent at the end of the release cycle. In 9, however, DSLR shooters resorted to Cineform or to something like EPIC.

Thanks for the suggestions! I settled on Raylight Ultra and Epic 1. Now I am trying to figure out how to get my effects working on the P2 footage I am editing.
