Can Vegas 10 work directly with ProRes 422 QuickTime Files? Dale

As long as you have a recent version of QuickTime on your computer, the answer is yes.
You can't render out to that format as it's Mac-specific but you can read it. |

Thanks Mike,
I have been looking at getting a ki pro mini and that is what it captures in and was wondering if I could use it or whether i had to go to the nano for an extra thousand dollars. thanks again

Good luck getting it to work, even with the latest QuickTime it won't play in my Vegas - I've given up.

Dale, I would do my best to try and get some Ki Pro footage in the ProRes format you're expecting to record in before you commit to spending your money.
I looked on the AJA site but didn't see any sample footage on there. |
