Render settings for GoPro camera
I have Vegas Pro 10 and a GoPro HD Hero camera. Does anyone know what settings I need to render at in order to copy the file back to the camera and play it from the camera to a television? Thanks.

In Vegas, right-click the gopro clip and check out the properties. Rendering to those same settings should work.

I must be missing something. It looks like to me the "Sony AVC" with the "Internet 1920x1080-30p" template is a match but the camera isn't recognizing it. I'm renaming the file as a "GOPRxxxx.mp4" where xxxx is the 4-digit file number the camera usually assigns. Of course I'm using the next number available.

Well apparently it's not just a matter of duplicating the files parameters. An authority from a GoPro user forum has told me:
"No can do without creating the whole card structure and the unique codec the GoPro reads for in cam playback. I have done it, just not worth the trouble." Seems like GoPro would have kept it simple for me. |
