Vegas 10 does not handle Cineform as well as Vegas 9.
I posted last week that I am going to go back to 9e for now as I can't seem to resolve an issue with 10b. When using cineform and inserting transitions between scenes I find that there is a distracting and abrupt light shift at the beginning and end of the transition. It was suggested that I try Vegas 10c. I have confirmed that this does not resolve the issue. Vegas 9 handles Cineform correctly without this abrupt and annoying light shift.

i switched back to 9e a week ago, not a single crash since, large projects 4+ Hrs, Sony MXF mixed with Canon DSLR native footage, as well as Cineform; I was that close to go Edius, but men it looks ugly

In case neither of you have done so, please report this problem to both Sony and Cineform so that they can hopefully get it resolved.
If no one complains, nothing will get done. |
