Vegas Properties Window
Would someone please take the time to help a noob? I recently bought Vegas Pro 10 and sure could use some help on how to set up my properties window. I have a Canon 5D2 which I use at 30fps. I would like to be able to burn to Blue Ray DVD and play on my Blue Ray player. The properties window does not have a 1080 30fps option. Can anyone help me or direct me to where I can find my answer?

Here's a quick tip - go to File - Properties. Now to the right of the preset list is three buttons. Click on the thrid button - "Match Media..." - which will bring up a file selection box. Select the video clip you're wanting to work with and click on Open.
Now you're project properties will perfectly match the clip you're wanting to edit. Click on OK to close the properties dialog, add that clip to the timeline, and edit away.

No need to feel stupid. There are tons of people who don't know that button exists!
