Vegas 10 Upgrade install ?
I purchased the Vegas 10 upgrade disc (instead of download version) as I was in the process of buying a faster PC. My question is can I just use the upgrade disc to install Vegas 10 on my new PC without any previous version of Vegas being installed first? I haven't tried yet as I am not quite ready to install it but am trying to do do some homework in advance.
I have a valid copy of Vegas 8 w/SN etc. Thanks Bret |

I've just bought a new PC and upgraded to Vegas 10 via the download. This asked me to install my earler version (8c) from which it then upgraded as necessary. I should think that the CD will probably install the full programme from scratch but the installation wizard will make it clear if it needs your previous version of Vegas before it can install.

Short answer - yes. You do not need to install the older version first.
