Vegas/ Mercalli issue
Good morning,
Well I have come up with a new one this morning. I am on a one hour feature project, hundreds of hours in it, 30 or so changes sence yesterday and I went to stabilize one clip. I get a black overlay saying to run the analysis again. I do so and nothing happens, Ok, so I take the effect off the clip and the overlay will not leave the project and it is now hanging over a lot of clips!!! I can go back to yesterday's work but that means my entire morning today is wasted. I even went to the auto save and restored it that way and it still comes up. any quick fix or do I remove mercalli from the computer and try that??? I may be pooched, or is it poached?? In the future I will copy the clip into a different instance of sony stabilize and move back, ah 20/20 hindsight!!

First, assuming you are using Mercalli V2?
Next, this might be obvious, but you are going back to the Vegas timeline and selecting the clip (i.e. clicking on it), before you run the analysis - correct? ...Jerry |

If you haven't already done so, an e-mail to Mercalli support is a good idea.
