Rendering question DVD/MPEG2
Hi,
I have a m2t clip on the timeline. Project setting is 1440X1080 30fps (16:9). I decide to render, I pick MPEG-2, then Custom..In the Output type I see -DVD -HDV -MPEG 1.What's the difference between DVD and MPEG-2? 2. If I pick DVD and change the Width to 1280 and Height 720 (leaving the Aspect ration to 16:9), I get an erro "The reason for the error could not be determine" (after you press OK on the RENDER AS screen) Thanks |

You're getting the error message because that's not the right size for a regular DVD.
720 x 480 (and a few minor variations) are it for non blu-ray DVDs. |

HD source on Vegas timeline to create your DVD is so so, not very sharp picture. You should do a search on the forum HD to SD downcoversion for DVD, I think you'll be happy to learn it because your final DVD will be much much better than what Vegas can down convert your HD to SD > DVD. Very simple straight forward.
