imovie 9 and sony vegas

Is it possible to convert imovie files for importation into Sony Vegas? If so, can it be done without a quality loss?
I've done a rough edit of a long project with imovie 9 but would now benefit from Sony's ability to, among other things, create a blu-ray disc. Otherwise, I'd probably go with the simpler solution of FCP but I believe their BR capabilities are almost non-existent.
