My 2nd wheel on mouse also zoom :(

I buyed an A4Tech mouse: WOP-49.
It has 5 buttons (nice for program copy/paste to the two side buttons),
and two wheels on it.
I want to use one wheel for zooming on the timeline, and the other for scrolling left-right,
like it works in IE and so on..
But not in Vegas. Both wheel do a zoom. Why?
Is there any settings for this?
I know the SHIFT+wheel method, but i want to use only the mouse :-)

Not sure if there is a way to make Vegas recognize your second mouse wheel or not, but you may look into the programming software for the the mouse and program a macro/keystrokes for that second wheel. Something like a sequence of Crtl key down >(regular)mouse wheel up direction>release Ctrl key. Try to experiment, depending on the limitations of the programing software you may or may not be able to make it work. The downside of this method is that other programs may not work as expected when using the second scroll wheel. Hope this helps!

Prech I've tried this before and I don't think it's possible, to my knowledge Vegas only allows left/right scrolling when you hold in "Shift" and scroll.

ok, thanks guys

the programmins software only allows reverse directions for the wheels, and set
how much lines scroll a time.
