OT: is iTunes 10 safe for Vegas?
I know all about the warnings not to do this (got burned by doing this in the past) but I thought I'd ask anyway.
My family is bugging me to install the newest version of iTunes on my computer which also has Vegas Pro on it. Has anyone been brave enough to do this and did it cause you any grief? I'm fortunate in that this is my home computer and I have Vegas on it only for the times that I want to do some work stuff at home. If iTunes did mess it up, it wouldn't be the end of the world to me. Frustrating but not the end of the world. I'm certain that someone has already done this so I'm just curious as to what their experience was. Thanks. BTW, I'm running Pro 9 here. |

To answer my own question, I just installed it and can confirm that Pro 9.0e (on XP Pro) does work with the newest iTunes and QT 7.6.8
I loaded in a wide variety of QuickTime-type files and had no problems. |

Thanks for the update, Mike. I don't personally use iTunes or Quicktime (don't even have Quicktime installed on this machine!). But that's good information to know.
