Importing just parts of a DVD disc content with Vegas 9.0e
I know that I can import a DVD content as a whole (File - import - DVD camcorder disk).
But I wonder if I can choose just some parts of the DVD content to import just them and how could I do it. Thanks Ron |

What I do is pull the whole thing in, add what I really want to the timeline, render it out, and then delete the import.

Thank you Edward.
Then this (File - import - DVD camcorder disk) is the only possibility to do it, I guess. That`s what I usually do as well. But if the video has a long duration, all the process is slow and boring, a waste of time. Best Ron |

Ron, for future reference, DVD Shrink (it's free) will do what you need.
Drop your DVD on it, switch to Re-Author mode, set the Start and End Frames and re-author only the specific portion you want. |
