Mixed timeline (HD & SD) in Vegas Pro 9
Hello...I am creating a demo for my wedding videography business and I have a mix of SD @ 4:3 and 16:9 (squeeze) - interlaced and progressive. Further, I have some HD footage 1080p 30 from the Canon T2i. I am putting all this on a 1280x720 timeline set to 30p.
The goal is to retain the HD like qualities for the HD footage and dress up (neat video) the SD footage to look better. Is this a pot-luck project? Can't do it? Where am I going wrong if I am? One last thing - how do I deal with the interlaced SD video? What's the best way to deinterlace? That's alot to answer and perhaps the segway to "go back to school" but thanks for any info in advance! Jeff |

There's no reason why it shouldn't all just work fine. Naturally the SD video won't add resolution just because it's an HD project. You can go to file-properties and set the interlacing and deinterlace methods as desired.
