Where is my Huffyuv go?

Hi guys

Today I downloaded Huffyuv zip file and I unzipped and installed. It show up on my system under add/remove program but not in under vegas. Any one know why? Here the scrêen shot.


PS. Windows 7 64 bit

i posted "Installing Huffyuv on Vista 64-bit" a couple years ago... some said it didn't work (for them) but others seemed ok with it... was put together from other postings i'd found on the topic and my own experiences.

yeh i know its Vista, but it should work on Win7 the same... if not, sorry i dunno.

Because 64-bit Windows applications cannot run 32-bit DLLs. You would need to run the 32-bit version of Vegas to use the codec.

Yes, but there is also a 64-bit version of Huffyuv available.

You also might want to install the Lagarith codec.
In genereal it's better accepted by host applications.
Lagarith is available as a 32-bit and 64-bit version.

Thank you. I did not realized there is a 64 bit Huffyuv, with your reply . I googled it and found it. . I like hufffyuv . I had have lagraith but kinda slow. I did some testing today and Huffyuv wins with a file size slightly bigger.
