Unbundling bloatware from new PC

My new Windows 7 editing notebook arrives tomorrow, and I thought there was a posting or a sticky several years back on either how or what bloatware to specifically remove prior to installing Vegas.

This is my first notebook and first with W7 so any suggestions for getting the most out of a surprisingly inexpensive product would be greatly appreciated.

(I'd replace the entire system with Ubuntu if I thought Vegas would run on it.)
