Multi-event change in and out point?

Is there a way to do this? I have 6 events stacked and need to extend their out points. I can't seem to multi-select and drag the out points. I can group them and do this but this seems counter productive. Any ideas. Thanks.

Just group them. I don't see how this is counterproductive... you can leave them grouped together afterwards it you don't want to go through to break them all up individually again. It takes one extra keystroke once you've selected all the clips so it's not exactly a big deal.

Even extending 6 tracks seperately should only take a few seconds as long as you have snapping on.

So this cannot be done? There isn't a switch or setting somewhere that is preventing this?

Not directly, to my understanding. When you click, it's going to select just the event you're clicking on.

I'm with John on this - pretty darn straightforward (and productive!) when you're using keyboard shortcuts, which are generally key to productivity.

Multi-select.
hit the g key for group.
drag to new length.
hit the u key for ungroup.

Hope this works for you!

Of course... a script could also easily do this task and could work with "all selected events".
