PluralEyes and mismatched time code footage

I purchased PluralEyes for Vegas a couple of months ago and find it to be a terrific utility. It really simplifies syncing multicam footage which otherwise is a tedious editing task. I wonder if anyone has used it with mixed footage that has inconsistent time codes. How does PluralEyes deal with that? A case in point would be mixing 30 fps footage from a 5D MKII and 29.97 footage from a camcorder. (Thankfully Canon's soon to be released new firmware will fix this.)

Another case is when an audio recorder is used and its time code wanders a bit compared to a camcorder or vice versa.
