Problem viewing HD video under Vegas Pro 9.0c and Windows 7 (64 bits)
Hi,
I just upgraded my computer and reinstalled Vegas Pro 9.0c (64 bits) just to discover I can no longer see my HD videos (it does see the sound portion of it though). I have a Canon XHA1 and a lot of HD footage in .mt2 or Cineform .avi format. I have the same problem with Windows Media Player too. I know it's a question of missing codec but I don't want to install them all just to identify which one I'm missing. If someone can point me out in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Sorry if I'm asking about this, I'm pretty sure it's been discussed here before but I tried to use the search function on the site and it returned an error message. Best regards, Benoit |

You didn't say what you upgraded from. Were you using Vegas Pro 64-bit before? If you are using the 64-bit version of Vegas Pro you will need the 64-bit version of all of your codecs and plug-ins. If you have Cineform files, then you'll need to upgrade whatever Cineform product you have (Neo Scene?) to the 64-bit version. M2T files should work right out-of-the-box.

As John says m2t files should work fine, even in WMP. If not something is amiss in your Windows 7 installation. If you did an upgrade install of Windows 7 vs a clean install your issue could be there.
