Vegas 9 and windows 7
Is it worth switching to windows 7(and all the headaches of re-installing software) from Vista for the sole purpose of running vegas 9. Thanks, Bill

Long story short, after a loooong day of uninstalling, reinstalling and restoring- decided to format and start clean. As long as I was doing that, figured I would go Windows 7. Tonight, tried several renders with not only no problem, but clearly improved performance. I am sure that part of it is the mess that I had accumulated on Vista, but Windows 7 and Vegas 64bit are working swimmingly together and I couldn't be happier with the clean install. |
