How to span across discs?
I'm rendering my VEgas project out to an NTSC DVD.. due to the length of the project, I want to span it across multiple discs.. is there anyway of determining file size of a selected region before rendering that region out to a single AVI? Or should I just break down the timeline equaliy for the x number of discs I plan on using?

Here's the way I'd approach it.
If you use a CBR setting of 8,000,000, you can get up to 70 min. on a single DVD. Armed with that information, find appropriate spots on the timeline to make your splits and render one section at a time. |

Thanks Mike, I think that would be 70 min on a single layer DVD?

Sorry Yang, yes, a single layer DVD.
A dual layer DVD at the same CBR setting would get you 2 hr. 10 min. |
