Audio/Video Clip
I dont want to speak to soon..but Vegas 9.0C has seemed to clear a lot of my issues...
Anyways..I was wondering if anyone knew an answer to this. If I delete the audio from a clip, but later decide I could use it. Is there a way I can somehow put back the audio file, without dragging the clip and recutting it? Peter |

Double-click the clip to highlight it, right-click it and select "Open in Trimmer", right-click the clip in the Trimmer and drag it to the timeline over top of the "no audio" clip, let go of the mouse button and select "Audio Only - Add Audio across Tracks".
Re-group the new audio to the old video and you're done :-) |

Don't know if this helps you Peter, but it may help other readers of this thread.
Excalibur users also have a one-button function to "restore missing a/v" on the repair/maintenance tab.
