No capture preview

Got vegas 9. During capture or just by pressing play no capture I am not able to view the video on the capture screen. Where else should I look into? It captures fine but hate looking at the HC3 view finder when you have a 24 on the desk.

Thanks

Within Video Capture there is a preference for Viewing while Capturing.

In Sony Video Capture 6.0:-

GO | Options | "Always Preview Video"

If you HAVE that checked, and you still can't view what is capturing, I have no idea?

Grazie

If you're using the 64-bit version...

Notable fixes/changes in Version 9.0c

* Fixed image preview during HDV capture (64-bit version).

Great!! I feel much better it was a Vegas issue rather than a pc issue.

John, the "fix" for 8.1 is to upgrade to 9.0c.
