Whoops Mitsubishi HS-HD2000U doesn't work

As a correction to my previous message, please be advised that the subject VCR has arrived, and it does not record HDV from Sony HC1. In fact the manual clearly states that the HD2000U can only record from another DVHS or from a HD receiver. (I tested those functions and they work fine). Actually the HD2000U will not even recognize the connection to the camera.

Now I will go back to the original thread that I referenced and post this finding.

In the meantime, there is no good archiving solution for HC1 other than computer and hard-drive.
