way to get copyright sign?
Hi everyone;
Just a quick question I'm hoping someone can help me with. How can I get the little c in the circle with Vegas 4? I searched the site and went through all the little winding fonts but couldn't find it. Any help please? |

Hold down the ALT key. Type 0169 on the numeric keypad. Let go of the ALT key. Or copy and paste as Keith said :-) You can find all these keys in the Character Map applet which will also let you copy but will also tell you the numbers to enter while holding down the ALT key.

I can never remember the ALT key combination.
So I just do a search for it and copy it from whatever page has it.

Well... the key combo DOES work because that's how I entered the one in my message. The catch is:
1) you have to hold down the alt key while typing all the numbers 2) you have to enter all 4 numbers - including the leading zero 3) you MUST enter the number using the numeric keypad Now whether there are some other differences based on different countries, I don't know.

Another way.
Open up a word processing program such as MS Word. Type in ( C ) and the copyright symbol will emerge. Copy and paste into Vegas text. Instant replay: SHIFT +9 C Shift +0 Viola!! |

Gotta say the character map worked like a charm! Thanks everyone. I must admit I never really bothered to see what the charcter map thingy was in all my years of using PC's. Live and learn :)
