How to convert PAL to NTSC
Hi All,
My client has sent me an MPEG2 Pal footage and I need to convert it to NTSC and use it for broadcasting. Please tell me how I can go about to do that? Thanks Matthew

Drop the file on a Vegas timeline and render out as an NTSC file in the desired format.
Be advised that it will probably not look too good as you're going from 625 lines to 525 lines (this part is OK) but you're also going from 25 fps to 29.97 fps (this part is not good). All I can suggest is to render a short segment and then give it to the broadcaster to see if it's OK. |
