Interlace Issue?
My typical workflow is to edit in 1080i60, with strictly 1080i60 footage, and render as such, and then run that through Handbrake to come out with a 720p30 final product for the web.
For the next project I'm working on, I was submitted a few clips of 1080i60 footage that were exported from another project as 1080p30, to go into the project along with my own 1080i60 footage. Now, if I want to use the same workflow as usual, will the 1080p30 clips automatically get re-interlaced on render so that the whole video is 1080i60, or am I going to end up with a video that's got a few clips that are interlaced? If the latter, how do I set it up so that those 1080p30 clips get interlaced, and thus match the other footage? |

Chris,
Not quite sure why you are going through handbrake to de-interlace. This may help you. Eugenia's Rants and Thoughts Blog Archive Exporting with Vegas for Vimeo HD |
