Vegas 9 Pro Processes A1's 24F correctly!
I must be the odd man out, but I've had zero success processing my XHA1's 1080-24F in Vegas 8. I always had glitchy movement and duplicate frames. I just upgraded to 9a and it converts 24F from the 60i stream into the timeline and I have smooth 24P renders. I understand 9b is coming out on or around August 28 so things may get even better. Thus far 9a is a marked improvement:
1. 24F works smoothly without intermediaries (worth the $185 by itself) 2. My previews are clearer, colors don't seem as dim in preview as in V8 3. I like the new light filland light ray plug ins 4. Neat Video Noise Plug in appears to have expanded controls in version 9 5. H.264/mov files seem to work in the timeline. Many files didn't work in V8 so I can trade files with my Apple brethren much better. I've really just started and have a few things to figure out. My immediate need is to figure out how to preview while capturing. I hope the ReadMe will tell. Last edited by Roger Shealy; August 24th, 2009 at 05:47 AM. |
