Two different frame rates on acquisition
Question: I have two different frame rates on a project, one is 23.97 and the other is NTSC 29.97....what is my solution? I prefer to stay at 23.97, is this possible?
One of the footages came from a Canon Hv30 and it said TV mode 24 P but when I capture it the files now say they are 29.97 in the properities of the clips. Confused...on that one...so there in lies my question. |

Set the project to 23.97. Drop both clips on the timeline and edit as needed.

Frame Rates
Edward,
Thanks very much sir....would it matter if I left it 29.97? Or is it just preference at this point? |

I would set the project settings to match your desired final output. Technically, you can set the project settings to 29.97 and then render to 23.97 but I'd go ahead and set the project properties to match too.
