Using the Export EDL script
I need to import an EDL from my TVPaint (a new feature) and the developers asked me what type of EDL Vegas uses. I used the script under Tools and sent them the result.
Now that we have an EDL in TVPaint to export I tried to import it into Vegas and Vegas can't even see it. So I tried pointing Vegas to the EDL I had initially made with the Tool's script and Vegas is blind to it's own EDL as well. Has anyone here used an EDL in Vegas? Can this be a bug? Other TVPaint testers have reported that Premiere, on the other hand recognizes the TVPaint EDL -- bummer.

It might be possible to modify the script, or write a new script, to properly read the EDL file.

I wouldn't know how to do that, but the thing is, Vegas doesn't even recognize the icon and the extension of its own EDL. I tried to push it by making it visible by using All Files and there was no doing. Vegas gave the message that it doesn't no what it is, therefore I suspect it's possibly a Vegas bug, no?
