Vegas Pro 9.0 a - none of my video FX are working
Ok, I am working on a slideshow project due tomorrow and I have tried to apply black and white effects to an image and nothing happens. So I said ok, I can worry about this later, I will use the gausian blur instead... I can't get any of the effects to work. Is there some bypass toggle I am not finding or is something seriously screwed here? Any help please.
Vegas Pro 9.0 a 32-bit edition

I should probably note that transitions are working fine as are the media generators...

You probably have the "FX Bypass" button pressed on the Preview Window. It's the icon at the top of the window that looks like a circle inside a box.

ok now I feel like an idiot. I originally thought it was some bypass switch but i forgot to check there since I don't use that feature often. Thanks, that was definitely it. Too many late nights and tight deadlines, my brain must be getting addled.
Thanks, John.
