MXF files in Vegas Pro 9.0
I can't import MXF files into vegas. The MXF files were captured in Avid MC. Are they compatible with Vegas?
Thanks |

Exactly. They are compatible with nothing else on the planet.

temporary solution
I thought of one temporary solution if it is just a one off situation. It is possible to download a 14 day trial of Avid Media Composer. Download the trial... open the MXF files... transcode to the lossless mov animation codec... open in vegas.

I'm kind of confused as to why you didn't just capture in Vegas...? Anyway, can Streamclip or Handbrake read and transcode those files?
