DV + HD help fast!! Please

I need to do this tonight.


I have 90 % hd and I have a short dv clip at the beginning and the end, I can't get the dv to scale up.


Wherre is match aspect ratio, is that how you do it in vegas??

Easiest way is probably to drop the SD clip into an empty timeline, and render it with setting to match your HD clips. Then just place that newly rendered video on the timeline with the other HD clips.

I tried that, placed the two clips on a new project timeline, crreated a region, went to render as and processed it as 1080i it made no difference.

am I missing something??

Pan and crop button, select 16:9 from the drop down list.

you can RIGHT click on the clip go to the bottom and go into PROPERTIES. UNcheck 'keep aspect ratio' or whatever it says towrds the top of that list and click OK. BUT your text MIGHT be slightly misshapen. Might be.
Oh yeah make sure the clip and project properties are set correctly for the entire project then change the properties for the clip(s)
