Laptop Suggesstion
I'm stuck, fallen and I can't get up..Need some other Warriors help me out.
I am looking for a laptop that can do the following: Travel with me to clients for on location work.... 15 to 17 inches is fine. 1. Run Sony Vegas Pro 2. Run Sound Forge 3. Run Photoshop 4. Run AE 5. Magic Bullet Looks 6. Take EX cards and P2 Cards via ?? ** What do I need to get the best calibration on screen with a laptop.. Can I get this without having to spend a fortune like the BOXX laptops.....

Get the previous generation of macbook pro, the 15" had express card 34 slot for dumping footage. Best laptop I've ever seen. Edit in bootcamp XP and everything else on Leopard. Nery a worry about virus, malware, weird registry issues and your windows system will remain fully dedicated to editing. Like a temple.
Grading? Matrox has a new portable scaler, it's called the mocha or java or something like that. In spite of what you may read, no, spyders won't do the job. |
