MPEG-2 1920-1080 out of synch

when I render my HD video using the MPEG-2 codec, 1920x1080, the final product is out of synch by almost 30 seconds. when I choose MPEG-2 HDV, everything is in synch.

whats up with that?

I've made those kind of renders without a problem... mpeg2 1920 x 1080 30p (Vegas 8pro)... and even enjoy them on a HDTV LCD through the WD mediaplayer ... what kind are your source files?

kind regards
