2 hours for a 30 minute render?
rendering 720x480 vid VBR avg 6k rate, progressive, 4:3 aspect ration.
Last nite it took no more then 30 minutes, today its moving extra slow saying 3 hours at times. All 4 cores of CPU are working almost 80%...any ideas? |

Check and make sure that you didn't accidentally bump the Level control in the Track header.
BTW, for anything less than a 70 min. program, I use a CBR of 8,000,000. |

also check the clips themselves to make sure you didn't accidentally lower the level on one or more. I've done that in the past and felt quite sheepish later when I realized my error.

Ok figured out my issue. I'm using a color correction AND NeatVideo for the entire clip. Just read today that NeatVideo is very processor intensive plugin.
For a test I rendered a 1 minute clip raw, in 16 seconds and with neatvideo and color correction at 16 seconds it was at 1%. Guess you learn something new everyday. |

I guess you do. The other lesson learned from this is to give as much information as possible when you have a problem as it makes a diagnosis much easier. Neat Video is well known as a processor hog. |

Magi Bullet is a hog also. I love the white diffusion filter but it takes forever to render.
