Widescreen on a 4x3 screen
Its late.. and Im tired so apologies if this has been answered somewhere else... my current projects, shot in 16;9, worked on in Vegas 8 and DVDA5 look magic on a 16;9 screen.
But whenever they are played on a 4x3 screen, they lose the aspect ratio and fill the screen with the anamorphic look. What do I need to re-set in Vegas or DVDA to keep the project in the widescreen aspect ratio? Or is it a TV setting that needs to be re-set? Ben |

Ben, you need to set the TV to letterbox. It should then display your video correctly with black bars at the top and bottom. You want to leave your video anamorphic. If you TV doesn't support this, you may want to consider how attached you are to it.
