Big HD-file from explorer window to the timeline
I have no problem to take my small HD-files from explorer window to the timeline. Wher files get larger the problems comes. Now I'm trying to drag a long shot 4 gb file from explorer window to the timeline, but no action. The file won't come down to my timeline when using the mouse and drag it to the timeline. (No problem either when using Pinnacle Studio 12. It takes a long time but it works.)
My computer and graphic card should be heavy enough. Does anyone know how to get big files to the timeline in vegas? |

Problem solved. Great problems when using big files not captured in vegas. I needed to use an imported file(4 gb) from on of my DVD's in a new project. Imported this big file into Pinnacle S12. Could not use this file directly in Vegas. Not able to drag it to the timeline. Had to edit/render this file (in S12) into smaller files before I was able to use these in Vegas.
From my camcorder I've just captured a 26 min HD-file (a 5.2 Gb file from a consert) directly to Vegas and dragged this file in a easy way to the timeline. Maybe there is a compatibility problem with some other files. |
