Will there be a fix for 8.1 released soon?

To expand on what Steve said slightly:
Vegas Pro 9 (both 32 and 64 bit) are scheduled to be released on May 11.

I have 8.0c and 8.1. I felt stung by 8.1 and do most of my work in 8.0c still. I did not jump on the bandwagon for 9.0... I'll let someone else be the beta tester for that. More money for Sony to fix what was wrong in 8.1? Not until....

For those of us who are not professionals, who may be trying to live on limited incomes, it would be nice, and I believe a good business decision by Sony, to offer a working stable 8.1.
