Media library
good evening,
Well, it never seems to end. As of recent my Vegas program when booted up brings up the window: "the media library default could not be opened" I just bypass it and move on, but would like to get it right. I took out the media manager and then re-installed it, no effect. thank you.

Dale, did you try unchecking the media manager in preferences? Unless you want it to work...then I can't help you.

Jeff,
The sql or such must be off, I can't make it work. Thanks for reminding me about the tick box in preferences. I just shut it down as you recomennded. I love this program, but it seems like the more i get familiar with it the more there is to know. guess that is a good thing!!! thanks!

I believe I managed to mess things up with Media Manager when I installed WAMP to do some local Joomla work. There was some kind of SQL version conflict. It was never confirmed that this was the cause of the problem but it went away when I uninstalled WAMP and reinstalled Vegas.

Media Manager
I too experienced trouble with Media Manager when I began storing clips on Multiple (2 or more)external hard drives. I Began to get the "the media library default could not be opened" error message also. Media Manager kept forgetting which hard drive where a particular file was stored. I got tired of it, so I stopped using Media Manager.
