Edit DVC Pro HD with Vegas Pro 9 ?
Hi
I`ve been working with HDV (no problem with my Vegas 7.e) and lately have been asked to edit DVC PRO HD with my system. So I think it is not possible to edit natively DVC PRO HD with Vegas 7.0e. Is there any alternative solution to edit DVC PRO HD with Vegas keeping the integrity of the video and audio signal quality? Has this version Pro 9 solved it? Ron |

You'll never see the ability to edit DVCPro HD in Vegas. Panasonic has made it pretty clear that they will not allow Sony to have access to their codec.
Fortunately, there is a product called "Raylight" from DVFilm, and it works great. It won't degrade/shift your image quality nor sound.

Thank you Marcus
At the moment I have Vegas 7.0e. I intend to upgrade to Vegas 9 and then I`ll probably buy Raylight Ulltra. Best regards Ron |
