Hi All! I got this in my email today. Sounds a bit sus. I think I'll wait :)

Hey man.....

For $100 I'll give you a Vegas code to simply unlock the Demo, screw that academic BS.

Download it from the sony sonic foundry site, hit register by phone and give me your Computer ID code and I'll give you the unlocking code.

I'll throw in Boris 3DGL for an extra $100.

I'll ship it FAST too. I accept Paypal, not sure if you even have that over there. Maybe an online money order system. I have no idea how stuff works over there, I'm in US.

Hello,

It is for a pirated copy.. You will be taking your chances and breaking the law..
I purchased Vegas on Ebay for a very discounted price.. And it is a legitimate Vegas from Sony.. You will be better off doing this instead of going the pirated route.. if you wish to try before you buy.. there is a demo version availablefor doamload on the Vegas site..

Walk away from this as fast as you can. Also, delete any references to it. You don't want to get involved in something like this. It is totally illegal.

Thanks Edward.

I just want it to HURRY UP!

Reminds me of being a kid wanting Christmas to get here.

Lord give me patience, but hurry!

I tried the Vegas demo out the other day. Accomplished more in 15 mins than I did in that stupid Roxio Software in 2 months AND did it without looking at the manual.

As I said, I'm hanging.

Keep playing with the demo. The practice will be well worth it. Which version did you install? If you 4.0d or 4.0e, you won't need to install anything once you receive your package. The demo is the full version - simply enter your serial number and you'll be good to go. If you don't have 4.0d or 4.0e, go ahead and download and install that version now. Then you'll still only need to enter the serial number.

Warning! Follow the directions. I believe that it is recommended that you uninstall one version before installing the updates. (the updates are actually updated full-programs) Don't install one over the other. I didn't follow the instructions and ended up with two seperate versions trying to run at different times, some features wouldn't work in either one until I went back and did things correctly.

If you update to "e", you need to do that. The main reason is that the "e" version moved things to the Sony folder instead of the "Sonic Foundry" folder. It is also recommended that you accept the default installation folders.

Hi Vince!

It's an adaptec firewire, I have no idea what model, but it works great. As to trouble shooting for you, I'm a 'new boot' too, so I doubt my limited knowledge will be able to help you.

Better off posting a new post for Edward or the guys to look at.

Hope that helps,

Andy
